Hollow vertical bar sections are mounted between fence posts by means of so-called blind connector plugs, also referred to as joint plugs or joint connectors. These blind connector are inserted into the upper and lower horizontal bars of the bar section and attached to the post by means of a blind bolt connection. The blind connection is vandal-proof.
Blind connectors for hollow vertical bar fences are available in various sizes. The perpendicular connectors are by far the most commonly used. There are also adjustable blind connectors and hinge pieces for situations where a free corner connection has to be realised.
As an option, perpendicular blind connectors can also be fitted with a spring loaded pin. A spring loaded pin allows a hollow bar section to be fitted between two existing fence posts and is indispensable in case of repair and replacement.
